There are situation when social anxiety disorder are seen such as eating in front others, being center of attention, talking on the telephone and even using public toilets. People with disorder may feel that there is something wrong with them thus avoiding situation that call for interaction.

Based on statistics, millions of people are affected and diagnosed with this kind of disorder every year. Women are mostly affected by social phobia. It is usually suffered by people below the age of 25. You might think that having this kind of anxiety is a bad thing. Actually it is not. Anxiety is considered to healthy and it is normal for human beings to feel this way. It can move our mind and body to be able to cope up with different social situations presented to us.

Social disorder anxiety can become a problem. This happens when it affects our way of life and even makes it impossible for us to communicate with other people. Remember that man is a social animal. We need to cooperate with other people. Social anxiety is not dangerous, normal, adaptive, and the good news is that it doesn’t last forever.
